Ashar Advisory works with small businesses, families, seniors, and community colleges. The subject matter changes for each; the method does not. We start from a real task you need done, use plain language with no acronyms, and leave you with written notes so nothing depends on remembering what was said.
Small Businesses
We put the repetitive parts of a small business on autopilot — inbox triage, quotes and proposals, follow-ups, social posts, website updates — by connecting AI to the email, calendar, and CRM you already pay for, then training you to run it.
You do not need to learn AI. You need someone to install it, connect it to your systems, write the instructions so it sounds like you, and teach you three habits. That is the whole job. We do the setup in 30 days and then stay on to keep it running as the tools change — which they do, constantly.

Families
We teach families how to use AI safely and usefully at home — schoolwork, meal planning, budgets, travel, insurance and medical paperwork — in plain language, with no jargon and no assumed background.
AI arrived in every household faster than anyone explained it. Parents are handed tools their kids are already using, with no guidance on what is helpful, what is risky, and what is simply wrong. We work through it together: what these tools are genuinely good at, where they confidently make things up, how to check an answer, and how to set ground rules that do not require you to be technical.

Seniors
We teach seniors how to use AI at a comfortable pace — voice-first, so there is no typing — with patient step-by-step instruction, large-print handouts, and a focus on the everyday tasks that matter most.
No rushing, no acronyms, and no assumption that you already know what an app is. Voice is the thing that changes everything here: you talk, the computer types. We start from what you want to accomplish — reading a dense letter, writing back to someone, understanding a bill, staying in touch with family — and work backward to the smallest number of steps that gets you there. Everything is written down so you have it after the session ends.
In Orange CountyWe run sessions for senior centers, public libraries, HOAs, and 55+ communities across Orange County, as one-off talks or a weekly series. One-to-one sessions are also available.

Community Colleges
We run practical AI workshops for community colleges — for students entering the workforce, for continuing-education and workforce-development programs, and for faculty and staff who need working knowledge rather than theory.
Community colleges reach exactly the people this technology is most likely to leave behind, and they can add a course in a semester rather than a five-year curriculum cycle. We build sessions around what a local employer will actually ask a graduate to do with these tools — not a survey of the AI landscape. Formats run from a single guest lecture to a six-week certificate course.
In Orange CountyOrange County has one of the densest community college networks in California — Santa Ana, Santiago Canyon, Orange Coast, Irvine Valley, Fullerton, Golden West and Cypress among them. We build sessions to fit continuing-education and workforce-development calendars, and we are glad to work through a campus Small Business Development Center.

Questions about who we work with
- Do you only work with small businesses?
- No. Small businesses are the core of the work, but we also teach families how to use AI safely at home, run patient voice-first sessions for seniors, and deliver practical AI workshops for community colleges. The method is the same for all four: plain language, real tasks, and written notes you keep.
- What size of business do you usually work with?
- Owner-operated businesses and small teams, typically between one and fifty people, where nobody has a dedicated technology role. That is the group with the most to gain, because the repetitive work usually lands on the owner or one overloaded employee. Common fits include contractors, dental and medical offices, real estate, restaurants, salons, and e-commerce.
- Do you run sessions for groups and organisations?
- Yes. We run workshops for community colleges, senior centers, libraries, HOAs, 55+ communities, chambers of commerce, and business groups across Orange County. Sessions can be a single talk or a multi-week series, and your programme keeps the handouts and exercises to re-run later.
